Reebok RunTones Hit the Beach

Here is what happened when I took my Reebok RunTone shoes to La Jolla Shores for a beach run…

As a San Diego Personal Trainer, I definitely recommend these shoes for my clients who enjoy jogging for cardio. They add a little extra “lift” to your workout!

  1. How did you feel the next day after this workout? What was sore?

  2. Hi Nikol… I’m wondering what’s your final comments in using the runtone? Please rate it too.. 1 to 10. Thanks a lot!!!

    • Hi Zy,

      All in all, other than making the run harder, I did not notice a difference in my body other than tighter than normal calves and occasional pain in the knees.
      Bottom line with running shoes is that they depend upon your comfort preferences, genetics, etc.
      I would rate them this way;
      Look & Style: 10
      Comfort: 8
      Function: 8
      Effectiveness (as advertised): 6
      Likely to Purchase: 5

      Hope this helped! If you are interested in other shoe suggestions, please let me know.

  3. Nikol, can a person with high arches wear this shoe?

    • Hi Jennifer. I would try them on in the store before buying them for sure. They do tend to run a bit on the narrow side which may bother the top of your archy feet. You should be able to find them at your local foot locker store.
